We were powerless

“You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”- Romans 5:6-8

Dear Warroirs,

As we ask you to put your life on the line for our country, I think of this truth.  'Christ died for the ungodly.'  And I am reminded that we ask you to do this for us.  You are demonstrating your love for us in His example and I am so grateful for your Christlike example and sacrifice.  May God honor your commitment and sacrifice as you bless our nation on His behalf.
