God's Rescue Plan Revealed [Exodus 3]

¹¹But Moses said to God, "Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the sons of Israel out of Egypt?"

This chapter is amazing. After 300 years of God's chosen living in Egypt, God showed up like a knight in shining armor and changed everything. What began as salvation and provision for the 12 tribes while Joseph was still alive had morphed into severe oppression over those many years. God saw their affliction, heard their cry, was aware of their sufferings, came down to deliver them and to bring them up to a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey!

As God revealed His plan to Moses, Moses needed a bit of reassurance. How awesome it must have been to hear those words, "Certainly I will be with you..." spoken by the great I AM, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob!

God, we praise you that you are God and that You are One who delivers us as we cry out to You. Cause us to believe you are with us and ready to give us all we need when we ask.
